Mats Theselius for Källemo, chaise longue, leather, wood, steel, Sweden, 1992

Limited edition daybed. This chaise longue was designed by Swedish Mats Theselius. It consists of a black base with a steel frame and a black leather seating. This daybed is highly comfortable and also features the functional detail of storage. On both ends the seating can be fold upwards allowing storage space under the chaise longue. The interior is covered in green felt.

Mats Theselius is known for his a-typical designs, most of them produced in limited editions, all for Källemo Sweden. This functional and esthetic piece is another great example of his style and inventiveness.
